Lisa Yui
Lisa Yui, a Yamaha Artist and internationally acclaimed pianist, has been praised as “a musical phenomenon” by Pianiste magazine. She has performed across North America, Europe, and Asia as a soloist with major orchestras including the Tokyo Symphony and the Polish National Radio Orchestra. A top prizewinner in international competitions, Lisa is also a respected educator and lecturer, teaching at the Manhattan School of Music and Juilliard Extension. She currently serves as Interim Associate Dean of Doctoral Studies at Manhattan School of Music. Lisa is the creator of The Lives of the Piano, MSM’s long-running concert and lecture series, and has released acclaimed recordings of works by Beethoven, Schumann, Liszt, Weber, and Dussek. Her pioneering work with Yamaha Disklavier technology, along with her engaging performances and lectures, continues to shape the future of piano education and performance.
