BIOGRAPHY
JOE JACKSON
Owner, President, Chief Technician/Rebuilder, and Consummate Piano Enthusiast @ Jackson Pianos. Joe founded Jackson Pianos in 1997, but the dream started long before then when his curiosity led him to disassemble a piano when he was a teen (and yes, he was able to put it back together). Joe’s passion for the piano is spread to each of Jackson Pianos’ employees, customers and clients.
You can find out more about the business at:
When a piano is out of tune, even your Average Joe is going to know something’s off. He might not understand what, but it’s something. At Jackson Pianos, they keep their operation as precisely tuned as the strings on a Yamaha Concert Grand about to serve the fingers of a maestro at Carnegie Hall. But you’ll also find as much soul as the tobacco-stained, whiskey-soaked upright in the corner of your favorite bar. Family-owned, operated and lovingly labored over, the roots of Jackson Pianos reach deep into the St. Louis community and beyond. They certainly serve customers with recognizable names, but they treat everyone that walks into their showroom, or whose home they visit, like a guest at their dinner table. (Hope you like pulled pork!) Jackson Pianos is a mom and pop shop--all the work is done by family or employees. From pick-up to delivery, nothing is jobbed out to other companies. Because they don’t just work on pianos–-they serve them, and they deserve our respect, and they inspire us like nothing else in this world does.
